Equipment Research Vessel “Nikolaev” for underwater search work allows searching and scanning of wrecks at a depth of up to 1000m with obtaining 3D-images. The complex of search operations at sea (ocean) includes detecting objects using a sonar survey, multibeam echosounder survey, a survey with the help of an underwater controlled robot “Falcon”, capable to dive to depths of up to 400m and rise to the surface objects weighing up to 500kg. If necessary, a diving survey may be carried out, which includes photos and video. Also exploratory work on the sea surface are available, which, in some cases, facilitates the thermal imager, in any type of the weather capable to “see” objects on the surface of the water at a distance of up to 10 miles.
